Salmonella outbreak linked to pistachios from Trader Joe's and other brands sickens 11 people in nine states.


Almost a dozen people in nine states have fallen ill with salmonella after eating pistachios, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Wednesday. Out of the 11 people who were infected, two were hospitalized. Brand names associated with the outbreak were Paramount Farms, Trader Joe's, and Wonderful Pistachios.
