Women warned after talcum powder shown to cause cancer

Women have been advised not to use talcum powder between their legs after 22 women have sued Johnson & Johnson for £3.6bn after they developed cancer after using talcum powder which was contaminated with asbestos.

A spokesman for Target Ovarian Cancer said "Various studies have shown a link between talcum using talcum powder between the legs and ovarian cancer. We would therefore generally advise against using talcum powder on this area of the body.”
