Water Park closed due to blue-green algae health threat

Aqua Park, part of the Alton Towers resort in Suffolk was closed on Friday after blue-green algae were found in the water. Blue-green algae (Cyanobacteria) is a naturally occurring algae in inland waters, which can damage the liver and nervous system if ingested.
